SF’s Adult Education/Project SAINT To Be Featured at Upcoming Conferences

Santa Fe College issued the following announcement on July 21.

Among the 19 Florida colleges and universities with approved comprehensive transition programs for students with unique abilities, Santa Fe College’s Project SAINT (Student Access and Inclusion Together) was selected by the Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities (FCSUA) as the exemplary program to present alongside the FCSUAon the topic of job preparation and outcomes at two esteemed upcoming conferences. 

Linda Mussillo, the Adults with Disabilities Specialist in SF’s Adult Education and Project SAINT Program Administrator, and Beverly Stoutamire, Job Developer, Adult Education and Project SAINT, will present on the topic of Increasing Employment Outcomes for Students with Intellectual Disabilities through Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Programs, sharing how Project Saint/SF Adult Education successfully transitions adults with unique abilities to employment. 

They will represent SF, Project SAINT and SF Adult Education at both the international DCDT 2021 Conference (Division on Career Development and Transition, Council for Exceptional Children) in Myrtle Beach in October, and virtually at the national SOTA (State of the Art Conference on Post-Secondary Inclusion and Transition) in November.
