SF's Career and Technical Showcase is April 7

Santa Fe College recently issued the following announcement.

Santa Fe College’s Career and Technical Showcase will be held Thursday, April 7, from 6-8 p.m. at Howard Bishop Middle School in Gainesville. The showcase, which is free and open to the public, will feature SF’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and the business partners that support those programs.

Attendees will learn about careers in high-demand fields including

  • Business Programs
  • Construction and Technical Programs
  • Education Programs
  • Emerging Technologies
  • Health Sciences
  • Information Technology Education
  • Fine Arts and Entertainment Technology
  • Institute of Public Safety
  • Zoo Animal Technology
These programs focus on preparing students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill and high-demand careers upon graduation. CTE programs include Associate in Science degrees, certificate programs and apprenticeships. Curriculum is designed in collaboration with community partners to allow SF to tailor its programs to meet the needs of the changing job market.

Business members will be at the showcase to speak with attendees one-on-one about what a career is like in their field of choice.
