Join the Library District and our community partners to celebrate the start of Summer at the Library on Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to noon at Depot Park! Register the whole family for the summer reading program and receive a free book for kids and teens ages 18 and younger.
Come to Depot Park's open lawn near the corner of South Main Street and Southeast Depot Avenue where we will have tents, music, and activities for all ages. Sign up for Beanstack, our Summer at the Library tracking program, for your free book and goodie bag. You can track your reading and summer fun from May 28 to July 31 to earn badges for chances to win a grand prize tablet from PDQ Restaurant and weekly pizza prizes from Five Star Pizza.
Check out activities from our community partners - including Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo, the Harn Museum of Art, Fun 4 Gator Kids, and more - and learn about their summer plans. Then grab a treat from the food truck and a balloon animal from Gainesville magician Magic Mike.
This summer's theme is Oceans of Possibilities and we can't wait to dive into the fun with you!
Thank you to our Summer at the Library sponsors, PDQ Restaurant, MARC Radio Group, and Five Star Pizza.
