Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2022-12: For Purchase Of Surplus Property

The City of Palatka is soliciting bids for purchase of the surplus properties referenced above, commonly known as “Hammock Hall” and the two vacant lots nearby. The minimum bid for all three lots is $150,000. Bids are due (no later than) July 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM and must be in a sealed envelope marked “RESPONSE TO INVITATION TO BID (ITB -2022-12)”. The forms to be included in the sealed envelope can be downloaded from the City’s website at https://palatka-fl.gov/Bids.aspx . Please note, that an official “bank check” for 10% of the bid total must be included in the envelope. Once a bidder has been selected, the balance of the purchase price plus documentary stamps and recording fees is due by 4:30 pm August 11, 2022, via official bank check.

Only bids received during the ITB bid cycle will be accepted. The City has no responsibility to maintain bids or evaluate bids previously submitted. The City reserves the right to revise any all dates referenced in this solicitation at its sole discretion. Any proposal received after the deadline will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submittals received in response to this ITB as determined to be in the best interests of the City. The City may not award an agreement(s) solely based on this ITB and will not pay for the information solicited or obtained. Any information obtained may be used to determine the suitability of the proposal. 

All interested parties must register their name, email address, address, and telephone number on the City’s website to receive any future changes, additions, addendums, or notices concerning the ITB.
