Saints Food Share Holding Hunger Action Food Drive And Open House

Saints Food Share provides free baked goods and non-perishable groceries to SF students and employees experiencing food insecurity. Over the last year, Saints Food Share distributed over 11,000 pounds of food to the SF community. September is Hunger Action Month, and Saints Food Share is inviting the SF community to take action by hosting a food drive and open house.

The Hunger Action Food Drive will take place from September 12-16. Saints Food Share accepts all unopened, unexpired non-perishable food donations. Pantry items in high-demand include individually wrapped snacks, proteins, fruits, rice, pasta, soups and vegetarian/vegan items. Help us re-stock our shelves as we head into a busy semester! Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • Student Affairs Lobby – Building R
  • Student Life lobby – Building S
  • SF Police Department Lobby – Building T
  • Library Lobby – Building Y
Student Life invites SF faculty and staff to attend Saints Food Share’s open house on Friday, September 16 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in S-158. The college’s food pantry was relocated to Student Life over the last year. While renovations are ongoing, the food pantry is up and running! Stop by the open house to check out our new location and learn more about Saints Food Share.
