DEEP (Diabetes Education Program) is a 2 hour, once a week-six week program that is teaches adult diabetes management.
Diabetes Education Empowerment Program (DEEP) program- The Diabetes Education Empowerment Program (DEEP) is a free program accredited by the National American Association of Diabetes Educators, and managed by trained Diabetes Educators in Alachua County.
This 6 week class teaches you how to manage diabetes through lifestyle changes including better nutrition and physical activity. The goal of the DEEP program is to empower adults to take charge of their diabetes, avoid complications from the disease and improve self-management skills.
This FREE class is structured requires registration and will meet once a week for 6 weeks for two hours.
