Mrs. CAMMACK. Madam Speaker, on behalf of Florida's Third Congressional District, we honor Mr. Paul Blow for receiving the Congressional Gold Medal for his services to the U.S. Merchant Marines during World War II.
The Congressional Gold Medal is the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. Congress and is given to honor those whose dedication, heroism, and public service have created a lasting impact on American history.
The United States will always be grateful to the thousands of Merchant Marines for the gallant support of our nation during times of both peace and conflict.
