On Saturday, March 8, former Gainesville High School standout Parris Wiggs’ current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Florida Ospreys.

The game took place at UNF Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Ospreys this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 5 p.m. at Bob Heck Softball Complex against Georgia State Panthers.
