Rep. Kat Cammack, serving Florida's 3rd District in the U.S. Congress since 2021, recently communicated a series of updates via her press office's Twitter account. The tweets address various issues including natural disasters, meetings with government officials, and national security matters.

On July 7, 2025, Rep. Cammack expressed concern for Texas residents affected by severe flooding. She stated: "Over the past several days, I’ve been in regular communication with my Texas colleagues who have been directly impacted by the terrible flooding. As the death toll continues to rise from the devastating floods, my prayers are with the victims, their families, and the entire Texas."

Later that day, Rep. Cammack reported on a meeting held with FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr. The discussion focused on challenges within the prison system as well as rural broadband and emergency communications. She shared her appreciation for Carr's partnership by stating: "Great meeting this morning with FCC Commissioner @BrendanCarrFCC to discuss solutions to challenges within the prison system, rural broadband and emergency communications. Grateful for his partnership in keeping our communities safe and keeping America leading."

The following day on July 8th, Rep. Cammack highlighted border security achievements under former President Trump's administration compared to current statistics under President Biden's leadership: "Under President Trump’s leadership, America now has the most secure border in our nation’s history. Last month, border encounters dropped to a record low—lower than any single day under Joe Biden. This is what real deterrence looks like."

Kat Cammack has represented Florida’s 3rd District since replacing Ted Yoho in 2021 after previously serving in the Florida House of Representatives.
