Rep. Cammack Press Office, the official communications outlet for U.S. Representative Kat Cammack of Florida’s 3rd district, recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing national security, economic performance in Florida, and the anniversary of an assassination attempt on former President Trump.

On July 13, 2025, the office marked the one-year anniversary of an attempted assassination against former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. The post stated: "One year ago today, a gunman attempted to assassinate President Trump in Butler, PA—wounding him, injuring two others, and killing an innocent American. Political violence has no place in our country and we will never tolerate it."

The following day, July 14, 2025, Rep. Cammack’s office highlighted Florida’s recent economic achievements: "Florida’s economy: A‑rated Solid job & GDP growth AAA credit Ranked #1 in CNBC’s 2025 economy rankings—for the 3rd straight year! Everyday, we are working to make Florida recession-proof!"

Later on July 14, another statement addressed border security policies under President Joe Biden and contrasted them with those under former President Trump: "Joe Biden’s open-border policies created a national security crisis. Now, President Trump is restoring order and putting America first."

Kat Cammack has represented Florida's 3rd District in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Ted Yoho. She previously served in the Florida House of Representatives and was born in Denver in 1988. Cammack holds a BA from Metropolitan State University of Denver and currently resides in Gainesville.
