U.S. Representative Kat Cammack, who serves Florida’s 3rd district, posted a series of statements on her official press office account in mid-September 2025 addressing the assassination of Charlie Kirk and expressing support for American truck drivers.

On September 13, Cammack commented on national television appearances and the aftermath of Kirk's death: "Today, I joined @AnnaKooiman to share my reaction to Charlie’s assassination and his wife Erika’s incredible address to the nation. We will overcome the hate and violence that has taken root like a cancer and we will do it peacefully. His mission lives on in all of us who will".

Two days later, she described Kirk's killing as a pivotal event: "The political assassination of Charlie Kirk is a national tragedy. If we as Americans continue to go down this path, no one succeeds. Division breeds destruction, and we all lose when we forget what unites us as Americans. " (September 15).

Also on September 15, Cammack marked Truck Driver Appreciation Week by acknowledging the contributions of those in the trucking industry: " From coast to coast, truck drivers keep America moving. This #TruckDriverAppreciationWeek, we recognize the men and women behind the wheel who deliver for our communities every single day. From pushing for lower fuel costs and supply chain reforms to supporting workforce".

Kat Cammack has represented Florida’s 3rd congressional district since replacing Ted Yoho in 2021. She previously served in the Florida House of Representatives and was born in Denver, Colorado in 1988 before earning her BA from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015. She currently resides in Gainesville.
