WASHINGTON, D.C. — On April 20, 2023 Congresswoman Kat Cammack voted in support of H.R. 734, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023, which strengthens the law's existing protections for women, ensures a level playing field for female athletes, and protects the law from the Biden administration's radical regulatory scheme.
"The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act affirms what we already know to be scientifically true—that there are distinct biological differences between men and women," said Congresswoman Cammack. "It is disappointing that we must pass this legislation to safeguard commonsense competition between female athletes, but we took an important step today in strengthening the protections that ensure women's sports are for women."
