How many people were old enough to vote in Columbia County during 2021?

Of the 69,265 citizens living in Columbia County in 2021, 78.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 54,105 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 28,369 were male, constituting 52.4%, and 25,736 were female, making up 47.6%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Columbia County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 80%.
