On August 25, 2025, the office posted about a community engagement event in Newberry: "This weekend, while the Congresswoman continues to recover from delivery of her daughter, members of Team Kat were in Newberry for the joint legislative town hall. Kat Cammack has served in the U.S. Congress since 2021 after succeeding Ted Yoho as representative for Florida's 3rd District. She previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives and resides in Gainesville after earning her BA from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015.
