U.S. Representative Kat Cammack’s press office recently shared a series of updates on social media, highlighting her legislative activities and advocacy efforts in Congress. The posts, published between July 21 and July 22, 2025, focus on technology policy, emergency communications, and support for Florida agriculture.
On July 21, Cammack reported a discussion with the Abundance Institute regarding artificial intelligence: "Just wrapped a great conversation with the @AbundanceInst on how Congress can harness AI to better serve the American people. From analyzing legislation to improving constituent services, the potential is limitless—if we get the policy right. Let’s lead with innovation. "
Later that day, she announced the formation of a new congressional caucus focused on emergency response systems: "Today, my fellow Co-Chair, Congresswoman Torres, and I launched the bipartisan, bicameral NextGen 911 Caucus for the 119th Congress! We kicked things off with a visit to DC’s Office of Unified Communications to thank the public safety telecommunicators who are on the front".
On July 22, Cammack expressed gratitude toward federal and state officials supporting Florida's agricultural sector: " BIG WIN for Florida farmers & ranchers! Grateful to President Trump, Sec. Rollins, and our State partner Commissioner Simpson for answering the call. Florida ag feeds the nation—and as the lone federal Representative for Florida Ag, we’re fighting to make sure they’re never".
Kat Cammack has represented Florida’s 3rd congressional district since replacing Ted Yoho in 2021. She is recognized as both an advocate for technological advancement in government operations and a supporter of local agriculture. Before serving in Congress, she was a member of the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Denver in 1988 and currently residing in Gainesville, Cammack graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BA in 2015.
