Rep. Kat Cammack highlights support for emergency workers, veterans, and women's health guidance

U.S. Congresswoman Kat Cammack, representing Florida’s 3rd district, highlighted her recent legislative and advocacy efforts in a series of posts from July 24 to July 25, 2025.

On July 24, the Rep. Cammack Press Office shared details of a visit to a public safety facility: "Behind the scenes of our visit to the D.C. 911 dispatch center, where Congresswoman Torres and I saw firsthand the critical work of our public safety telecommunicators. Grateful for their dedication and proud to support the technology and resources they need to save lives." The post underscored appreciation for emergency telecommunicators and emphasized continued support for their essential services.

The following day, on July 25, Cammack called attention to veteran employment initiatives: "Today, we honor the hardworking men and women who have served this nation by encouraging businesses across America to hire our veterans. Veterans bring unmatched discipline, leadership, and dedication to any workplace. Let’s recognize their value—not just with words, but with". This message focused on recognizing veterans’ contributions in civilian workplaces.

Later on July 25, Cammack announced new legislative action related to women’s health care guidance: "Today, I introduced a resolution reaffirming the need for clear, accurate medical guidance when treating miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies. Confusion and misinformation have no place in life-threatening emergencies. Women deserve access to timely, quality care—always."

Kat Cammack has represented Florida’s 3rd Congressional District since 2021 after succeeding Ted Yoho. She previously served in the Florida House of Representatives and holds a bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Born in Denver in 1988, she currently resides in Gainesville.
