U.S. Representative Kat Cammack’s press office published a series of posts between July 26 and July 28, 2025, highlighting issues ranging from immigration enforcement to historical military commemorations.

On July 26, the office posted about recent developments in immigration enforcement: "Alligator Alcatraz is now a central hub for transforming catch-and-release into detain-and-deport. This morning, I joined @HenaDoba to discuss https://t.co/gpZm24urtW". The tweet references a facility called “Alligator Alcatraz” and discusses its role in changing immigration policy approaches.

The following day, on July 27, the press office recognized the anniversary of the Korean War Armistice: "On this day in 1953, the Korean War Armistice was signed, ending active combat in one of the toughest fights for freedom. Today, we honor the brave Americans who served—and recommit to standing by all our veterans who’ve sacrificed so much for this nation. https://t.co/JIdJSwBuFF".

On July 28, National Buffalo Soldiers Day was marked with another post honoring African American soldiers: "On National Buffalo Soldiers Day, we honor the brave African American soldiers who helped shape our nation. Formed after the Civil War, the Buffalo Soldiers played a crucial role in the development of the American West. Their legacy of strength, sacrifice, and service continues https://t.co/sAEikPnhgo".

Kat Cammack has represented Florida’s 3rd district in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Ted Yoho and previously served in state government. Born in Denver in 1988 and currently residing in Gainesville, she graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree.
