Rep. Kat Cammack, who represents Florida’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, addressed several legislative and local issues in a series of posts on August 8 and 9, 2025.
On August 8, Cammack’s press office stated, "A shutdown shouldn’t be used as a political weapon. Americans want solutions, not standoffs. I joined @CherylCasone to discuss https://t.co/VH9LtOmeBT". Later that day, she highlighted bipartisan efforts to support seafood producers: "The SEAS Act—a bipartisan effort to level the playing field for America’s aquaculture and seafood producers.
Florida’s seafood industry generates over $165 million annually, yet many producers have been left behind by USDA programs. Mine and Congressman Pallone's legislation".
On August 9, Cammack shared an update about her work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers: "Being 9 months pregnant, due any day and hot as heck isn't stopping us from getting the job done! Just had a great meeting and site visit with the @USACEHQ to discuss the 81st Readiness Division project in Alachua County. We've been proud to secure the funds for this project and https://t.co/lKIPWlZiZq".
