U.S. Representative Kat Cammack, who serves Florida’s 3rd congressional district, shared updates and opinions on legislative priorities, educational opportunities, and national security in a series of posts on her official press office account in August 2025.
On August 9, Cammack reported the results of a recent telephone town hall with constituents: "During my latest telephone town hall, I asked constituents what Congress should prioritize this fall. The top answers? Lowering prices, cutting wasteful spending, and deporting illegal immigrants. Loud and clear—FL-03 is ready for action. "
Two days later, on August 11, she marked the start of the school year by highlighting student engagement programs offered through her office: " It’s officially back-to-school season in FL-03!
From art and app competitions to internships and service academy nominations, there are so many ways for students to get involved and grow through programs offered by our office. Learn more: https://t.co/eG3kYg8FNbhttps://t.co/iZmhXk05dy"
Later that day, Cammack commented on public safety in Washington D.C., referencing former President Donald Trump: "Our nation’s capital should be a symbol of safety and strength—not crime and chaos. President Trump is delivering what’s long overdue: restoring law and order and making America great again. "
Cammack has represented Florida's 3rd District since 2021 after succeeding Ted Yoho in Congress. She previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Denver in 1988, Cammack graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a bachelor's degree before relocating to Gainesville.
