City of Newberry issued the following announcement.
A small portion of SW 46th Ave will be closed beginning Monday, February 3rd, for repairs to be made to a road subsidence in the area. Repairs are scheduled to be completed by February 17th.
Detours, utilizing SW 266th Street and US 27/41, have been marked to enable travelers to circumnavigate the road closure. Additional traffic control devices and directional signage will be deployed to alert motorists of the closure. Travelers are advised to consider alternate routes or allow additional time to travel. The City asks that all motorists be patient, reduce speed, and exercise added caution when traveling near and throughout this work zone.
