Rep. Cammack Press Office shared updates on family milestones, state defense initiatives, and legislative efforts in a series of posts on August 18, 2025. The office, representing U.S. Congresswoman Kat Cammack of Florida’s 3rd district, highlighted both personal and policy developments.
On August 18, the press office announced the birth of Cammack's child: "We’d like to formally introduce Ms. Augusta Dair aka Baby Peanut! Baby Auggie (as mom calls her or Gussasaurus as Dad calls her) made her debut on August 14th after a very long & tough labor. Baby is doing great and already showing us her sweet and sassy personality while Mom is" (August 18, 2025).
Later that day, the account addressed ongoing changes within Florida’s National Guard: "Florida is taking bold action to align our Guard with statewide needs. Maj. Gen. Haas reminds us: ‘Florida Guardsmen set the standard with far less’—just imagine what they could do with the right force size. Time to match ambition with resources." (August 18, 2025).
In a third post focused on technology policy, the press office promoted legislation aimed at regulating digital marketplaces: " The App Store Freedom Act breaks Big Tech’s grip on app markets—empowering innovation, lowering costs, and protecting consumer choice." (August 18, 2025).
Kat Cammack has represented Florida’s 3rd Congressional District since replacing Ted Yoho in 2021 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Denver in 1988 and currently residing in Gainesville, she graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree.
