ALACHUA COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT: Holiday Murder Mystery: The Sleighed Librarian

Bsuienss

Alachua County Library District issued the following announcement.

Welcome to The Mystery of the Sleighed Librarian! Please keep in mind that this mystery is intended for more mature audiences. This mystery includes crime scene and evidence photos involving fake blood. It is not suitable for those sensitive to simulated depictions of violence.

In order to navigate the mystery, please click the buttons at the bottom of each page. On the Case Files and Evidence Locker page, clicking on the photos of each suspect will lead you to their dedicated police file. If you want to open a suspect's police file in a new tab, right click their image and select "Open Link in New Tab."

Centreville is a good place to live--but for some, it's a better place to die. The murder of Centreville librarian, Tricia McMillan, last year, was shocking. So, too, was the fact that despite nine suspects and plenty of evidence, the crime was never solved. Now, on the one-year anniversary of Tricia's murder, you've been called in to see if you can crack this cold case. You've got a lot to go on here: a map of the library, interviews with and files on each suspect, photos of the crime scene, and photos of what each suspect had with them. Even with all this evidence, the police haven't cracked it, and it feels pretty daunting to you, too. But we'll let you in on a little secret: one of these suspects is guilty of murder, and in these files, you have all the tools you need to catch the culprit.

Will you bring this murderous Grinch in from the cold and into the bright light of justice? Will you be able to figure out who's been naughty and who's been nice? There's only one way to find out...
