Columbia County Florida Emergency Management issued the following announcement on Sept. 24.
The Columbia County Board of County Commissioners recognized the need for additional business assistance in our community and launched its online application for the new
COVID-19 Columbia CARES Recovery Assistance grant for businesses. Applicants are encouraged to visit columbiacountyfla.com to review the new criteria to receive the grant
and to apply. Businesses may receive a grant up to $21,000. Actual award will depend on documented COVID-19 related business losses and cannot be used to duplicate any
other COVID-19 related funding, including the County’s previous CARES business assistance funding or the Federal Paycheck Protection Program.
