City of Gainesville recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Gainesville’s Wild Spaces & Public Places program and the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department are pleased to invite you to come out and celebrate your new neighborhood park.
A dedication presentation will take place from
10 -10:30 a.m. Attendees should dress comfortably so they can enjoy the new park after the ceremony! Light refreshments will be provided.
The new park has features for everyone. Amenities include modern playground equipment, two new basketball courts, a community garden, sidewalk games, a pavilion, grills and a walking loop with fitness stations.
