City of Gainesville recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Gainesville is accepting nominations for its annual Arts Awards, presented jointly with the Gainesville Cultural Affairs Board and the Gainesville Art in Public Places
Trust.
The deadline for submissions is Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022.
The awards recognize businesses and individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the arts in our community. New this year is the COVID-19
Essential Arts Award category to recognize an artist, arts organization, community group or business that has demonstrated exceptional and innovative arts and culture
programming and/or resource building in response to the unprecedented restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Nomination information and forms are available at
