City of Gainesville issued the following announcement on Dec. 8.
Sweetwater Wetlands Park is undergoing some much-needed improvements that will help with smoother and easier mobility around the park. As such, the park will be closed for
approximately one week during mid- to late-December. Visit the Sweetwater Wetlands Park Facebook page for updates and to be sure the park is open when you plan on visiting.
We appreciate the public's patience as we complete improvements.
