City of Gainesville recently issued the following announcement.
Effective Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, regular City Commission meetings will begin at 10 a.m., and neighbors will be able to sign up in advance to comment on meeting agenda items or to share a general comment.
Sign up online:
- Visit the agenda & minutes webpage, and find the next scheduled regular City Commission meeting (held on the first and third Thursdays of each month).
- Click on the “eComment” link for the desired meeting, followed by the “register to speak” button under an agenda item.
- Fill out a speaker comment card in the City Hall Auditorium beginning at 9 a.m. on the day of the meeting.
An Early Public Comment period is available at the beginning of the morning and evening sessions. You can sign up online by visiting the agenda & minutes webpage.
