City of Gainesville recently issued the following announcement.
We are excited to announce an upcoming Community Meeting for the Downtown Gainesville Strategic Plan. Join us on the stage at Bo Diddley Plaza (111 E. University Ave.) on
Wednesday, April 20 from 5-7 p.m.
This meeting features a presentation by the project team that shares a draft vision for downtown. Neighbors are encouraged to bring their friends and families and join us between
5-7 p.m., with the presentation starting at 5:30 p.m.
Following the presentation, the project team will be available for one-on-one conversations with Gainesville neighbors. For more information on the Downtown Strategic Plan,

Please note, in the event of rain, this meeting will be moved to the GRU Multipurpose Room (301 SE Fourth Ave., first floor).
