HealthStreet brings health workers to conduct health screenings, provide resources for medical/social services, & opportunities to participate in health research studies with University of Florida.
UF Healthstreet will be in front of the Tower Road Branch Library today from 2 to 4 P.M.
HealthStreet, a community engagement program at the University of Florida, employs reproducible, evidence-based, community outreach practices to reduce disparities in healthcare and research. Community health workers help bridge the gap between community members and resources available to them, including medical and social services and opportunities to participate in research.
