Gainesville City Commission special meeting rescheduled to Oct. 17

The special meeting of the Gainesville City Commission originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 4 for the second reading of the exclusionary zoning ordinance has been postponed due to the Yom Kippur holiday. The meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. in the City Hall auditorium (200 E. University Ave.).

Ways to make a public comment for the Oct. 17 meeting include:

Dial 352-334-5003 to record a general public comment voicemail message (up to 3 minutes). Recorded messages will played during the meeting. The public comment line will open by 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 and close at noon on Monday, Oct. 17.
