The Star Awards recognize citizens for their positive contributions to Gainesville’s natural environment. Nominees of individuals, groups, businesses or organizations operating within the City of Gainesville are accepted in four categories: Star Volunteer, Good Neighbor, Green Business, and Amy Carpus Lifetime Achievement Award. Anyone can submit a nomination; however, self-nominations are not accepted.
