Of the 1,409,949 citizens living in Orange County in 2021, 77.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 1,098,109 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 535,315 were male, constituting 48.7%, and 562,794 were female, making up 51.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Orange County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 80%.
