Rep. Kat Cammack, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 3rd District since 2021, recently addressed several key issues affecting her constituents through a series of tweets.

On June 17, Rep. Cammack shared insights from a meeting with constituents about the Affordable Care Act and its impact on Florida. She expressed concerns over the current state of healthcare, stating "our healthcare system is broken." She reiterated her view that the system operates more as "sick-care" rather than genuine healthcare.

In another tweet dated June 19, Rep. Cammack highlighted a significant cybersecurity incident involving major tech companies like Apple, Google, and Facebook. She described it as "the largest hack in history," urging individuals to change their passwords and enable two-factor authentication for enhanced security.

On June 20, she celebrated advancements brought by the Rural Development Opportunity Fund at GoldMark Farm with her constituents. The program has successfully extended high-speed internet access to over 35,000 rural locations across Florida. She expressed gratitude for being part of this initiative aimed at improving connectivity in areas such as Marion County "to celebrate the success."

Kat Cammack was born in Denver, Colorado in 1988 and resides in Gainesville. A graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BA earned in 2015, she succeeded Ted Yoho in Congress after previously serving in the Florida House of Representatives.
