The following day, July 23, Rep. Cammack highlighted a meeting with local advocates for working dogs: "Great meeting with Debbie Johnson, Jay Nix, Ester Byrd, and Justin Tortora to discuss legislation to protect our working K9’s. Kat Cammack has represented Florida's 3rd District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the Florida House of Representatives. She succeeded Ted Yoho in this role and resides in Gainesville. Born in Denver in 1988, Cammack graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a bachelor's degree in 2015.
