U.S. Representative Kat Cammack, who serves Florida’s 3rd district in Congress, used her official press office account to highlight recent developments and achievements involving state leadership and first responders in Florida through a series of social media posts.
On August 12, 2025, Cammack extended her congratulations to the state's new lieutenant governor: "Congratulations to Florida’s new Lieutenant Governor, Jay Collins — a decorated combat veteran and leader in our great state! Looking forward to working alongside him to keep Florida safe, prosperous, and thriving. "
Later that day, she recognized the dedication of first responders in Florida: "Florida’s first responders are the very definition of courage and selflessness. The stories highlighted through the SKY Valor Honors Program remind us that behind every uniform is a man or woman willing to run toward danger when others run away. From law enforcement to fire"
On August 13, 2025, Cammack marked a milestone for the Branford community: " Yesterday, the Branford community marked a huge milestone with the push-in ceremony for their first-ever custom fire truck! This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of Branford’s first responders, who go above and beyond to keep our community safe."
Cammack has represented Florida's 3rd district in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Ted Yoho. Before serving in Congress, she was a member of the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Denver in 1988 and currently residing in Gainesville, Cammack earned her BA from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015.
